In order to adjust the PacketAlarm 250 appliances much better to the requirements of today’s data processing centres, these Gigabit supporting systems will be equipped and delivered with new hardware from now on. The hardware renewal goes along with a new name for the appliances.

They will be officially called PacketAlarm 260.

The improvement of the hardware platform lies in the redundant layout design of the hard disk and power supply, as well as the integration of a Raid controller and new mainborads and processors.

A special highlight is the fact the prices for the new PacketAlarm 260 appliances will remain unchanged, I.e. they will cost no more than the old PacketAlarm 250 appliances!
